GCCA is a non-for-profit organization with a Board of Trustees that directs the operation of the school through an Administrator. The Board of Trustees is composed of six to eight people serving a 2-3 year term.

Each member of the Board of Trustees is a volunteer that provides oversight and guidance to the school. Board members are carefully selected based on demonstrated service and clear commitment to the school's mission, vision, and core values.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the following.
Assures the relevance and fulfillment of the School's mission, sets strategy, ensures all activities of the school align with the Law and approves school policies.
Hires, supports, monitors, set compensation for, and evaluates the Head of School which is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the School.
Secures the long-term financial viability of the School through monitoring finances and approving the annual budget, as well as, raising money for the school.

The Board of Trustees works through a Strategic Planning Committee (SPC).The SPC is divided into seven subcommittees that assists the Board of Trustees in strategic planning and decision making by researching, developing, and presenting recommendations for the board's consideration.
The SPC includes the following subcommittees.
- Finance & Stewardship
- Facilities & Maintenance
- Marketing & Communications
- Admissions/Student Recruitment & Retention
- Leadership & Staff Development
- Student Activities & Spiritual Life
- Curriculum & Enrichment
Current members of the SPC are Tina Barrett, Alexandria Overcash, and Catrina Weatherby. SPC membership may consist of but are not limited to GCCA parents, families, and ambassadors who serve on the Student Advocacy Committee (SAC) as well as GCCA teachers and staff.
Accepting membership on the SPC & SAC in the fall of 2025.
