Grace Covenant Christian Academy
Cultivating Excellence, Growing in Grace
DRESS CODE &
SPIRIT WEAR
At Grace Covenant Christian Academy we believe our dress and our actions represent the feelings and thoughts of our hearts.
Therefore, our clothing and the way we wear it should represent our desire to please God and honor him.
We appreciate parents/guardians working with us to maintain these appearance standards.
SCHOOL
UNIFORMS
Why School Uniforms?
Uniforms help students focus more on their academics and less on the peer pressure associated with keeping up with the latest fashion trends.
Uniforms eliminate inappropriate clothing and eliminate the question of what is modest as defined differently per family.
Uniforms simplify the "what do I wear" question, making it much faster to get dressed and out the door!
Uniforms prepare students for their future jobs where they will more than likely have a work dress code they will need to adhere to.
It is much easier to identify non-students and strangers when the students are dressed uniformly, especially on field trips
Uniforms eliminate the need for parents to buy a full wardrobe.
A greater appreciation for dress-down days!
Beginning in 2025-2026, GCCA students enrolled in K-5 will wear school uniforms every day to school, however there are times when students will have the opportunity to have non-uniform days such as theme days during spirit week, field trips, etc.
